Medicine Description clinacyn 300mg
Clinacyn is used to treat a range of infections caused by susceptible anaerobic bacteria or susceptible Gram-positive bacterial strains such as streptococci, staphylococci and pneumococci. It treats upper and lower respiratory tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections, pelvic infections, intra-abdominal infections, septicemia and endocarditis, dental infections.
Clinacyn is also used as an alternative treatment when combined with quinine or amodiaquine to treat malaria caused by multidrug-resistant Plasmodium falciparum.
