Amoxil Forte is an antibiotic used to treat infections caused by bacteria that respond to the beta-lactamase enzyme, while bacteria that are resistant to this enzyme are usually not sensitive to amoxicillin. The places that may be affected by these infections include the skin, lungs, urinary tract, eyes, ears, nose, and throat.
Amoxil Forte is also known by the generic name amoxicillin. It can be combined with other antibiotics such as clavulanic acid to enhance its effectiveness.
