Pariet is used to treat stomach ulcers, intestinal ulcers (duodenal ulcers), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and erosive esophagitis. Bariet contains rabeprazole as an active ingredient, which belongs to a class of drugs called proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) that work by reducing stomach acid secretion.
Pariet is also used to treat a variety of digestive disorders such as heartburn, peptic ulcers, and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
