Risek is used to treat indigestion, peptic ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcers associated with Helicobacter pylori infection (stomach bacteria), and peptic ulcers associated with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Risek is used to treat a rare condition called Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
