Losec is used in cases of esophageal reflux, cases of stomach ulcers, Zollinger-Ellison disease, and a limited number of diseases that cause excessive secretion of stomach acids.
Losec treatment is used to treat conditions in which reducing acid secretion is desired for appropriate healing, including stomach and intestinal ulcers (gastric and duodenal ulcers), and the prevention and treatment of ulcers related to drugs known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
