Itrapex is used to treat a wide range of diseases and infections caused by fungal infections. It is often prescribed to treat conditions such as oral or vaginal candidiasis, a fungal infection of the mouth or genital tract. It is also used to treat fungal infections of the nails, whether on the fingers or toes, known as onychomycosis, which causes abnormal discoloration and thickening of the nails.
Itrapex is also effective in treating pityriasis versicolor, a skin condition that causes patches of different colors to appear on the skin due to an overactivity of a certain type of fungus.
