Klarimix is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, including respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia, ear, sinus, throat, and skin infections. Clarithromycin is also used in combination with other antibiotics such as amoxicillin to kill the bacteria that cause stomach ulcers, known as Helicobacter pylori.
Klarimix is used to prevent or treat an infection known as Mycobacterium tuberculosis simplex, a type of lung infection that is more common in people with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
