Velosef is an antibiotic used to treat a range of upper respiratory tract infections, such as sinusitis, pharyngitis, and tonsillitis; lower respiratory tract infections, including acute and chronic bronchitis and pneumonia; middle ear infections; and urinary tract infections, such as cystitis, urethritis, and pyelonephritis; skin and soft tissue infections, including impetigo, skin abscess, cellulitis, and boils.
