Zisrocin treats upper respiratory tract infections, such as sinusitis, sore throat, and tonsillitis. It is effective in eliminating streptococcal bacteria in the throat area, lower respiratory tract infections including bronchitis and pneumonia, otitis media, skin and soft tissue infections, and sexually transmitted diseases. Zisrocin is used to treat simple genital infections caused by Chlamydia trachomatis bacteria.
Zisrocin is also used to treat simple genital infections caused by Neisseria gonorrhoeae bacteria that are not resistant to antibiotics.
