Fortum is used to treat healthcare-associated pneumonia, lower respiratory infections in patients with cystic fibrosis, bacterial meningitis, chronic otitis media with purulent discharge, severe otitis externa, complicated urinary tract infections, complicated skin and subcutaneous tissue infections, complicated abdominal infections, musculoskeletal infections, and peritonitis in patients undergoing permanent peritoneal dialysis.
