Oframax is an antibiotic used to treat diseases resulting from bacterial infections, such as urinary tract infections, lung and bronchial infections, the spread of bacteria in the bloodstream, sepsis, infections of the membranes surrounding the brain, infections of the abdominal cavity, in addition to infections caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria.
Oframax is also used as a preventive or therapeutic treatment for infections associated with surgical procedures, whether before or after them.
