Medicine Description cefotrix 250mg
Cefotrix is used to treat severe infections caused by organisms sensitive to ceftriaxone, such as meningitis, abdominal infections, bone and joint infections, complicated skin and soft tissue infections, complicated urinary tract infections, respiratory tract infections, and genital tract infections. Treatment of stage II and III Lyme disease. Ceftriaxone is also used to treat patients with septicemia.
Cefotrix is used to prevent infections that may occur after surgical procedures, especially in cases where the surgery is contaminated or exposed to contamination, such as cardiovascular surgeries, urological procedures, and colorectal surgeries.
