Indications for use of Zocozet
Zocozet tablets are used in the following cases:
As an adjunct to diet to lower total cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol (bad cholesterol), triglycerides, and apolipoprotein B (apolipoprotein B) in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia (familial or non-familial).
In patients whose LDL cholesterol target has not been achieved with statins alone.
In patients with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia in combination with other lipid-lowering therapies.
What is the dosage of Zocozet ?
Zocozet tablets should be taken as directed by your doctor. The usual adult dose is one tablet once daily in the evening. Your doctor may adjust the dose based on your cholesterol levels and response to treatment. The tablet should be swallowed whole with water and not broken or chewed. You should follow a low-cholesterol and low-fat diet while taking this medication.
What are the side effects of Zocozet ?
Zocozet tablets may cause some side effects, including:
