Thilomicine eye ointment is used to treat bacterial eye infections such as conjunctivitis and blepharitis. It contains an antibiotic that kills the bacteria causing the infection and helps reduce redness, swelling, itching, and discharge that may appear as a result of the infection. The ointment is applied inside the lower eyelid according to the doctor's instructions. Hands should be washed well before and after use. You should continue using Thilomicine ointment for the period specified by the doctor, even if symptoms improve, to avoid recurrence of the infection. It is not recommended to touch the tip of the tube directly to the eye to avoid contamination. The ointment should not be used if you have a previous allergy to any of its components.
