Iliadin is used to relieve nasal congestion caused by colds, flu, sinusitis, or seasonal allergies. It works by reducing swelling of the mucous membranes inside the nose by constricting the blood vessels, which helps open the nasal passages and facilitate breathing. It is also used in some cases before a nasal examination to facilitate vision. Its effect begins within a short time after use and lasts for several hours. It should be used according to the specified dose and for a short period not exceeding several days to avoid irritation or rebound congestion.
Iliadin should not be used in children except under medical advice and taking into account the appropriate age for each strength of the medicine.
