Medicine Description
Voltaren Gel is a topical preparation used to relieve pain and inflammation in muscles and joints. The gel is applied directly to the skin at the site of pain, where it works to reduce inflammation and swelling and relieve pain locally without significantly affecting the rest of the body. Voltaren Gel is used in conditions such as joint pain resulting from knee osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis. It is also used to relieve back, neck and shoulder pain and sports injuries such as muscle strain or joint sprain.
Voltaren Skin is also effective in relieving muscle pain resulting from physical stress. The gel is usually used two to three times a day and gently massaged into the affected area. Hands should be washed after use and avoid contact with eyes or open wounds.
