Aporanitidine is used to treat stomach and duodenal ulcers and prevent their recurrence. It is also used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease and to prevent bleeding from stress ulcers in people with severe illnesses.
Aporanitidine is used to treat and prevent stomach ulcers caused by nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and to prevent inhalation of stomach acid during surgery.
