Florosin is used to treat a variety of mental and psychological conditions. Its most prominent uses include treating depression, where it helps improve mood and reduce feelings of sadness and frustration; anxiety and panic disorders, by alleviating symptoms associated with fear and tension; obsessive-compulsive disorder, by reducing disturbing thoughts and compulsive behaviors; and premenstrual dysphoric disorder, by improving mood and physical symptoms associated with the menstrual cycle.
Florosin is also used to treat eating disorders such as bulimia, by reducing overeating and compensatory behaviors. The drug works by increasing serotonin levels in the brain, which contributes to improving the patient's mood and psychological state.
