Dapson is commonly used to treat a range of medical conditions, most notably leprosy, both tuberculous and non-tuberculous. It is used to treat pneumonia and can also be used when needed to treat inflammatory skin diseases such as dermatitis herpetiformis.
Dapson may also be prescribed in some cases to relieve inflammation related to autoimmune disorders or as an antibacterial in specific cases.
