Ciprobay is primarily prescribed to treat infections caused by bacteria such as respiratory tract infections, complicated and simple urinary tract infections, and skin and soft tissue infections. It can also be used to treat gastrointestinal infections including food poisoning caused by certain types of bacteria.
Ciprobay is used to treat joint and bone infections and is sometimes prescribed as part of preventive treatment in some cases at risk of serious infections such as infections caused by anthrax bacteria.
