Ciprocin is an antibiotic that works to fight bacteria that cause infection. It is prescribed for conditions such as urinary tract infections. Ciprocin is used in some cases of gastrointestinal infections such as diarrhea resulting from a bacterial infection, as well as some sexually transmitted infections caused by certain types of bacteria. Among other uses, Ciprocin can be prescribed to treat infections of the bones, joints, and deep tissues.
