    What is the dosage of Delarex?

    Delarex tablets should be taken as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. The usual dose for adults and adolescents over 12 years is one tablet (5 mg) once daily.

    For children, Delarex is available as a syrup:

    Delarex syrup: 0.5 mg/ml. Dosages for children are determined by age and weight, and are usually:

    For children 1 to 5 years: 2.5 ml (1.25 mg) once daily.

    For children 6 to 11 years: 5 ml (2.5 mg) once daily.

    Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, or take the syrup using a measuring cup. The medicine can be taken with or without food. It is best to take it at the same time each day for maximum benefit.
