Medicine Description
Eprex is used to treat anemia caused by chronic kidney disease. It works to treat anemia caused by chemotherapy by stimulating the formation of red blood cells by binding to erythropoietin receptors on bone marrow cells.
Eprex is given by injection under the skin or intravenously. The dose depends on the medical condition and doses may be adjusted in special cases.
