Singulair is used to treat asthma attacks and prevent symptoms during the day or night. Singulair is used in adults and adolescents over 15 years of age who are not getting the full benefit of their current medications and need additional treatment.
Singulair also helps prevent the narrowing of the airways that can be caused by exercise and is often recommended for the treatment of asthma. It can also relieve the symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis.
