    Indications for Use

    Kast is used to treat:

    Asthma: To prevent asthma attacks and control the symptoms of chronic asthma, especially in patients who cannot control their symptoms with other asthma medications, or as an additional treatment.

    Allergic Rhinitis: To relieve the symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergies, such as sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, and itchy eyes.

    Prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm (EIB).

    The aim of treatment is to reduce inflammation in the respiratory tract, relieve symptoms, and improve the quality of life of patients with asthma and allergies.

    What is the dosage of Kast?

    Kast should be taken as directed by a physician. The dosage and duration of treatment depend on age, the condition being treated, and the patient's response.

    For children 2 to 5 years: 4 mg (one sachet) once daily in the evening. The contents of the sachet can be mixed with a small amount of cold, soft food (such as yogurt or applesauce) and consumed immediately.

    For children 6 to 14 years: 5 mg (one tablet) once daily in the evening.

    For adults and adolescents over 15 years: 10 mg (one tablet) once daily in the evening.

    The medicine should be taken daily, even if there are no symptoms, as it acts as a preventative treatment.

    The medicine should not be used to treat acute asthma attacks.

    What are the side effects of Kast?

    Kast may cause some side effects, most of which are mild and common:

    Headache.

    Abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, or indigestion.
