Hostacortin-H is used to treat arthritis resulting from gout, in addition to treating asthma, bronchitis, dermatitis, and leukopenia and thrombocytopenia.
Hostacortin-H also contributes to treating eye infections and reducing swelling and pain. It is also used to treat corneal ulcers and conjunctivitis.
Hostacortin-H contains an active substance called prednisolone, which belongs to the cortisone class.
