Alertam is used temporarily to treat the symptoms of respiratory allergies, such as hay fever and other respiratory allergies, which often appear as a runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose or throat, and runny or itchy eyes.
Alertam is also used to treat the symptoms of a type of hives, known as chronic idiopathic urticaria.
