Medicine Description anti-snak-venom
Anti-Snak venom is a snake antivenom serum used to treat poisonings resulting from snake bites. It contains pre-formed antibodies that neutralize toxins present in the victim's body, helping prevent their spread to vital organs and reducing the risk of serious complications. This serum is prepared from the plasma of certain animals that are stimulated with small amounts of venom to produce immunity. The antibodies are then purified for human use. This treatment is life-saving, especially in areas where venomous snakes are prevalent or for people working in high-risk environments.
Anti-Snak venom is usually administered intravenously under direct medical supervision. The physician determines the dosage based on the type of snake and the severity of symptoms. Treatment should be initiated as soon as possible after the bite to ensure maximum effectiveness. The injection may be accompanied by some side effects, such as itching, rash, or low blood pressure. In rare cases, severe allergic reactions may occur. Therefore, it is essential to closely monitor the patient during the administration of the serum to ensure their safety and achieve the best possible results.
