Uricol Plus is used to treat joint pain and inflammation in acute gout, and to relieve the severity of chronic gout attacks and reduce the likelihood of their occurrence. Allopurinol is used as part of the treatment.
Uricol Plus is also useful as an adjunctive measure to prevent the exacerbation of acute gout during treatment with drugs that increase uric acid excretion, and to prevent the formation of urate stones.
