Antizole is an anthelmintic drug used to treat various intestinal worms in adults and children, including neurocysticercosis, echinococcosis such as tapeworms - hydatid - Echinococcus tapioworm, encysted encephalomyelitis, Ascaris ascariasis, hookworms, trichinella, trichinellosis (roundworms), cutaneous larva migrans, trichocoriasis, visceral larva migrans, gnathostomiasis, cryptosporidiosis, and filariasis in combination with diethylcarbamazine or ivermectin, and enterobiasis (sandworm infection) which mostly affects children.
