Nexium is used to treat cases of increased stomach acidity and erosive esophagitis. It is also taken to treat duodenal ulcers, whether active or in the healing stage, and to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease, in addition to its use in cases of constipation and indigestion.
Nexium is used to treat cases of gastric hypersecretion such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, as well as to treat neurogenic ulcers resulting from stress.
