Nexium is used to treat cases of high stomach acidity, as well as to treat erosive esophagitis, and is taken in the case of an active or healed duodenal ulcer. In addition, it is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease, as well as being effective in treating constipation and indigestion.
Nexium is also used to treat cases of hypersecretion of stomach acid such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and it also contributes to the treatment of neurogenic ulcers resulting from exposure to psychological stress.
