Zolipak is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in adults and children when food and gastric juices rise into the esophagus, causing a burning pain in the esophagus and throat. Zolipak helps prevent reflux, erosive esophagitis, and diseases of excessive acid secretion such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, dyspepsia, and gastric and duodenal ulcers.
Zolipak treats stomach ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori bacteria and stomach ulcers caused by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
