Tamsulin capsules are used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men. They help facilitate urination and reduce associated symptoms such as difficulty starting urination, weak urine flow, and frequent urination, especially at night. Tamsulin works by relaxing the muscles of the prostate and lower bladder, allowing urine to pass more easily. It is also sometimes used for other urinary conditions, as determined by the doctor.
Tamsulin is taken once daily after meals, preferably at the same time each day. For best results, do not stop using it without consulting a doctor. It is also advised not to change body position quickly to avoid dizziness, which may occur in some patients due to low blood pressure.
