Benzyl Benzoate cream is used to treat scabies and lice infestations. It works by killing parasites that live on the surface of the skin, such as scabies mites and lice, by penetrating the outer layers of the skin and reaching the location of the parasites. This cream helps relieve itching and redness caused by scabies and reduces the spread of infection among family members.
Benzyl Benzoate cream should be applied to clean, dry skin and covered completely from the neck to the soles of the feet. Avoid contact with the eyes and mouth. Leave it on the skin for several hours or overnight, according to the doctor's instructions. Wash it off the next day with soap and water. It is also recommended to wash clothes and bedding to avoid reinfection. Treatment should be repeated after a few days if symptoms persist or reappear.
