Adcozole cream is used to treat fungal infections of the skin, such as ringworm, which affects certain areas of the body, athlete foot, and jock itch, which affects the groin area.
It is also used to treat oral thrush, a common fungal infection that occurs inside the mouth due to an overgrowth of the Candida fungus. For women, Adcozole suppositories are an effective treatment for vaginal yeast infections, which often cause itching and an annoying discharge. Adcozole is also useful in managing fungal infections caused by diaper rash in children or skin allergies associated with fungal growth.
In some cases, it is relied upon as a first line of defense against secondary infections that may occur as a result of minor scratches or skin ulcers.
