Alkanazole capsules are used to treat simple and complex skin infections caused by fungi, such as groin infections, athlete foot, and ringworm. Alkanazole helps treat ringworm of the scalp, which often affects the scalp and causes hair loss and skin redness. In some cases, it is prescribed to treat infections affecting the vaginal area caused by the proliferation of fungi, such as Candida albicans.
It can be used to treat oral candidiasis, which usually occurs as a result of a weakened immune system or the use of certain medications. Alkanazole is also used to treat fungal infections affecting the nails, whether on the hands or feet.
