Innohep anti-Xa injections are used to prevent venous blood clots, especially in patients whose condition requires them to stay in bed for long periods, such as individuals undergoing major surgery. It is also given as a treatment for patients suffering from deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism, as it helps dissolve clots and prevent the condition from worsening.
Innohep anti-Xa is used in some patients who suffer from diseases that lead to blood clotting disorders, such as antiphospholipid syndrome or some conditions associated with chronic clotting. It may be prescribed to prevent clots in kidney dialysis patients who use irrigation devices.
