Cefamezin injection is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. This medication is mainly used to treat infections caused by bacteria that are sensitive to it, such as respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and bone and joint infections.
Cefamezin may also be prescribed to prevent infections after surgery in some cases.
