Miclox capsules are used to treat infections caused by bacteria in several areas of the body including the middle ear cavity, sinus cavities, throat area, bronchi, lung tissue, and urinary system.
Miclox capsules contain a combination of amoxicillin and dicloxacillin, which are antibiotics that work by binding to the same proteins that penicillin binds to inside bacteria. This binding prevents the formation of the bacterial cell wall, causing the cell to collapse and eventually die.
