Xenical may be used in conjunction with a reduced-calorie diet to treat severely obese individuals with a BMI greater than or equal to 30 kg/m², overweight individuals with a BMI greater than or equal to 28 kg/m², and a health problem such as type 2 diabetes or high blood pressure.
