    Vetovancin Vial is a potent antibiotic belonging to the glycopeptide class.     Uses of Vetovancin

    Vetovancin Dosage

    The usual adult dose is 500 mg every 6 hours or 1 g every 12 hours , administered by intravenous infusion. Each infusion should be given over at least 60 minutes to reduce the risk of infusion-related adverse reactions.

    In children, the dose is calculated according to body weight, typically 10 mg/kg every 6 hours . Dosage should be adjusted in patients with renal impairment based on kidney function and, when appropriate, therapeutic drug monitoring under specialist supervision.
