    Medicine Description

Valprotec is an antiepileptic medication used to regulate abnormal electrical activity in the brain. It has been carefully formulated to help control various types of seizures by increasing the levels of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), an inhibitory neurotransmitter that helps reduce excessive nerve activity.

By stabilizing abnormal electrical impulses in the brain, regular use of Valprotec helps prevent seizure recurrence and maintain neurological stability. It may also be prescribed for the management of acute manic episodes associated with bipolar disorder and for the prevention of migraine attacks in selected patients.
