Prevent exercise-induced bronchospasm (EIB).
Treatment aims to reduce inflammation in the respiratory tract, relieve symptoms, and improve the quality of life of patients with asthma and allergies.
What is the dosage of Kokast?
Kokast tablets should be taken as directed by a physician. The dosage and duration of treatment depend on age, the condition being treated, and the patient's response.
For children 2 to 5 years: 4 mg (one chewable tablet) once daily in the evening.
For children 6 to 14 years: 5 mg (one chewable tablet) once daily in the evening. (Note: This medication comes in a strength of 4 mg for children and 10 mg for adults. Please check the required strength.)
For adults and adolescents over 15 years: 10 mg (one tablet) once daily in the evening.
The medicine should be taken daily, even if there are no symptoms, as it acts as a preventative treatment.
The medicine should not be used to treat acute asthma attacks.
