Rhophylac injections contain Human Rho(D) immunoglobulin , which is an antibody to the Rh factor found on the surface of red blood cells. It works to treat immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) and during childbirth for women with a positive Rh factor and a positive child. It is also used in cases of miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy.
