Indications for Use
Clopex tablets are used to reduce the rate of:

Stroke: In patients with a recent history of ischemic stroke.
Peripheral arterial disease (PAD): To reduce the incidence of atherosclerosis in these patients.
It can also be used after certain cardiac procedures, such as stent placement in the coronary arteries, to reduce the risk of stent thrombosis.
What is the dosage of Clopex?
Clopex tablets should be taken as directed by your doctor. The usual adult dosage is one tablet (75 mg) once daily. In some special cases or after certain procedures, your doctor may prescribe a higher initial loading dose.
The tablet should be swallowed whole with water. The medication can be taken with or without food. It is best to take it at the same time each day. Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without consulting your doctor, even if no serious side effects occur, as this may increase the risk of stroke.
What are the side effects of Clopex?
Clobex tablets may cause some side effects, including:
Easy bruising or bleeding (such as nosebleeds or bleeding gums).
Gastrointestinal disturbances such as abdominal pain, indigestion, or diarrhea.
