    What is the dosage of Escita?

    Escita tablets should be taken as directed by your doctor. The dosage depends on the condition being treated and the patient's response. The usual adult dosage for depression and anxiety is 10 mg once daily. Your doctor may start at a lower dose and gradually increase it to a maximum of 20 mg daily if necessary. For the elderly or patients with liver problems, the maximum dosage may be lower. Swallow the tablet or half a tablet with water and can be taken with or without food. It is best to take it at the same time each day for best results. It may take several weeks to notice full improvement in symptoms.
