What is the dosage of Cotril Fort?
Cotril Fort tablets should be taken as directed by your doctor. The dosage depends on the type and severity of the infection, the patient's condition, age, weight, and kidney function. The usual adult dosage is:
For simple urinary tract infections: One tablet every 12 hours for 3 days. For other infections: Usually, one tablet every 12 hours for 5 to 14 days, or as directed by your doctor.
For the prevention of pneumonia caused by Pneumocystis carinii: The dose may be lower and taken daily or several times a week.
