Uncomplicated cervical gonorrhea caused by Neisseria gonorrhoeae.

What is the dosage for Cefixime Oral Suspension?
Cefixime Oral Suspension should be used as directed by your doctor. The dosage depends on the patient's age, weight, and the type and severity of the infection. The usual dosages are:
For adults: Usually 200-400 mg daily, taken once or in two divided doses every 12 hours. For cervical gonorrhea, a single dose may be used.
For children: The dosage is based on weight and is usually 8 mg per kilogram of body weight daily, taken once or in two divided doses every 12 hours.
Shake the bottle well before each use. Use the measuring spoon or cup provided with the medicine to accurately measure the dose. The full course of treatment must be completed, even if symptoms improve, to avoid recurrence and the development of antibiotic resistance.
