Ensudyne is used to treat type 2 diabetes, in addition to a proper diet, exercise, and treatment of nutritional disorders related to the kidneys and brain linked to the X chromosome.
Ensudyne can be used independently in patients who cannot tolerate metformin, and in cases where changes in diet and physical activity have not been sufficient to control blood sugar levels, or it can be added to other treatments (such as metformin, sulfonylureas, or insulin) that have not achieved sufficient results in controlling blood sugar levels.
